I haven't seen any bands create a physical set that the projection is integrated with - it always seems to be screens, mostly LEDs, sort of abstractly positioned.
I can see a dope skyline - post apocalyptic backdrop for someone like metallica or tool and having the visuals and pyro-technics all involved with the set design.
I am also wondering why more plays don't utilize projections to change backdrops and make them more realistic.
